Job Summary:
We are looking to add an associate to our team to help grow the irrigation side of the business. Work is PART-TIME TO START with opportunity for full time work and benefits. Our ideal candidate is someone who cares about our local environment and is looking to make a difference by implementing systems to help conserve water in residential landscapes. Results focused individual with a positive attitude and a good work ethic who is eager to learn.
Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
Primary duties include:
- Basic irrigation repairs
- Installing new irrigation controllers and valves.
At Water Wise Landscape solutions, we utilize the latest technologies and best practices in landscape design, irrigation and nature-based fertilization to help people make better choices for the environment. We then implement these choices into their home landscapes.
Compensation:
Starting pay is $15-20/hour depending on qualifications and past experience. No experience necessary as you will receive training on the job and additional support, but past construction experience (plumbing, electrical) is a big plus.
Timeline:
0-3 months:
Part-time. Job trips with a state-licensed irrigation contractor, riding to job sites and learning how water moves through a landscape. Identify common water problems within a landscape and how to fix them. Hands-on work installing new smart irrigation controllers.
3-6 months
Moving to more full-time work and benefits, if desired. More independent work with an increase in pay. Additional computer-based training to help sharpen your skills.
6-9 months
Full-time work and benefits, potentially as a salaried employee. Transfer into more of a leadership role as we add another like-minded person to your team.
